Following the Texas Animal Health requirements is an essential part of being able to provide a sustainable and successful show. Please show the TAHC regulation to your vet and follow the rules. Please note GILTS 6 MONTHS OF AGE OR OLDER MUST BE BLOOD TESTED NEGATIVE FOR PSEUDORABIES AND BRUCELLOSIS AND VACCINATED FOR LEPTOSPIROSIS WITH NO EXCEPTIONS, BARROWS DO NOT HAVE TO BE BLED OR VACCINATED. ALL PIGS NEED A CVI AND TAGS MEETING THE TAHC REGULATIONS. ALL CVI'S AND PIGS WILL BE CHECKED BEFORE ENTERING THE FAIRGROUNDS. IF YOUR CVI IS NOT IN ORDER AND ALL REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT MET YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE FAIRGROUNDS. PLEASE READ THE TEXAS ANIMAL HEALTH COMMISSION RULES ON (INTERSTATE SHOWS)

Gate Check:
All swine will be checked at the gate before gaining access to the fairgrounds. NO EXCEPTIONS!
All swine must have an 840 tag IN THEIR EAR at the gate check. Trailers containing swine on board without an 840 tag and a matching health paper will be turned away.
No you can not show us the tags.
No you can not tag them as you come in the gate.
